The clinics are called ‘Confidence clinics’ and are designed for dogs that are nervous at the vets. The clinics are tailored to the individual dogs needs but normally run over four sessions LASTING around 20 to 30 minutes each.
Our aim is to let your dog have more positive associations than negative ones with us and following a positive course you will need to keep coming in for sessions every few months so AS not to undo all the hard work! Our clinics are currently run by one of our qualified nurses, one of whom also holds a degree in animal behaviour.
The first step is to talk to a member of our team. We will then email out a questionnaire for you to fill in which will help us assess the ability for us to help your dog.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to work will all dogs and the clinics aren’t designed for those dogs displaying nervousness or aggression outside of the veterinary practice.
If you are interested please ask a member of our team for more details or see confidence clinics for more information.
